This research intends to analysis the types of code-mixing in Banten employed by 2nd grade students SMAN 2 Kota Serang, know factors used code-mixing, reasons code-mixing. The mixed method was used. To obtain data observation, questionnaire, and interview were employed. result showed all XI MIPA 4 code mixing. mixing morphemes, word, modifiers, phrase, clause, sentences. doing participation roles relationship, situational factor, message intrinsic language attitude, dominance security attitude factors. While that cause talking about certain topics, quoting others, be firm something (express solidarity), interjection (inserting sentence filler or conjunction), repetition is for communication, intention clarify speech content speech, expressing group identity.
